Season 4 also featured the 100th episode of the series, reaching an important milestone.

Moreover, it received universal critial acclaim, holding the second hihgest metacritic score of all One Piece seasons to date.

The production budget was an estimated 1.16 million Dollars, making 40,000$ an episode.

The fourth season is the second most critically acclaimed season to date (with an average rating of 8.8/10, placing second behind season 13, which holds a 9.1/10 rating), as well as the best-selling DVD of One Piece to date.
